In honour of Constitution Day, to mark the adoption of the Indian constitution, Std VIII students of St. Joseph’s Convent High School, participated in a poster making activity.
The students made neat and colourful posters of the Preamble of the Indian Constitution. A video has also been made by some students giving a brief about the constitution and reciting the Preamble.
At 11:00 am this morning the students having their online classes, took time out to show their respect and recognition of this milestone event by collectively reading out the Preamble.

Class VII
Constitution Day / Samvidhan Divas was celebrated with Class VII on 26th November 2020.Students participated with great enthusiasm in their school uniforms in the virtual set up.
Students began the day by reciting the preamble with great patriotic fervour.
The significance of the day and more interesting facts were shared with the students of class VII about the Constitution of India.
The celebrations continued as individual online programmes were conducted by the class teachers at 4pm. During this time, the meaning and the significance of the Constitution were discussed.
Banners and posters showcasing the Fundamental rights and Duties of the citizens were prepared by the students. They also attempted a fun quiz about the facts of the Constitution which was prepared by Ms. Simin.
