In preparation to celebrate Parents' & Grandparents' Day, Std VII team started in early July. The teacher conducted an online craft class on July 5th, 2021 where Std VII students were taught how to make an origami envelope and small hearts and flowers which were used to make the card even more beautiful. For the next two weeks, students of Std VII were asked to spend time with their families and 34 students sent in their pictures. It was nice to see them helping their parents in household chores, playing carrom and board games together, as well as praying and doing Yoga. Some of them applied mehendi on their mother's palms. The teacher then made a video of all these memories. This video was shared on Zoom at the weekly class meeting held on July 23rd. A prayer service was also conducted, praying especially for the families of our students and for their well-being during this pandemic. The students were encouraged to celebrate with their families this weekend and do things to make parents and grandparents feel special.
