To mark the 4th Anniversary of National Education Policy 2020 Shikshan Saptah Week was celebrated by the students of Std V with great enthusiasm:
Day 1 on 22nd July 2024: Teaching-Learning Material (TLM) Day - Students prepared Teaching material consisting names of fruits and vegetables. Elephant masks were also well crafted and made for a better teaching-learning experience.
Day 2 on 23rd July 2024: Foundational Literacy and Numeracy (FLN) Day - Children showed great interest by organizing games pertaining to learning numerals through card games and other group games (housie) helping to read and understand basic text and perform simple mathematical operations.
Day 3 on 24th July 2024: Sports Day - Children brought various indoor games to mark the importance of Sports that encouraged them to show active participation, creating grit and a sense of team spirit.
Day 4 on 25th July 2024: Cultural Day - Students dressed up in colorful threads on day 4 to showcast the importance of celebrating cultural events, social activities that help them learn about unity, working together and respecting one another.
Day 5 on 26th July 2024: Skilling Day - Skill day was celebrated wherein many students showed their talent and skills through various activities such as Dogging and handling the ball differently, hairstyling, Kart wheel, Mehendi drawing etc.
Day 6 on 27th July 2024: Eco Clubs for Mission Life Day - On occasion of this day students were encouraged to use millets in food and indigenous herbs and medicinal plants for nutrition and well-being. They were briefed about consuming natural or organic products. Students planted medicinal plants such as neem, tulsi, mint, curry leaves, aloevera, etc., within household premises.
From 22nd July to 28 July the following activities were conducted in Std VI as the school celebrated Shikshan Saptah:

Students took NIPUN Pledge - Students played games based on: making words and sentences in English using cards and Math games based on simple arithmetic operations.
Day 3
Sports Activities - Traditional games like rope jumping, hoop rolling, vish amrut, nadi parbat, langdi, lagori, kho kho, chor police, mantri, sipahi, etc were played by the students.
Day 4
Cultural / Traditional Day was celebrated - Students wore their traditional attire.
Day 5
Skill based activities were conducted - Like clay modelling, drawing mehendi, knitting, dribbling, bottle flipping, writing in various font styles,etc.

Community Involvement Day - The Students prepared a project on Vidyanjali Scheme of the Government of India.
Students of Std VII of SJCHS enthusiastically celebrated the Shiksha Saptah Week from 22nd July to 28th July, 2024. Students participated with great zest and were involved in various activities like puppet making, synonym puzzle for language development exercise, they also displayed skills like crochet, needle work, warli art painting, and celebrated cultural day displaying the rich and diverse culture of India through their outfits along with their multi cuisine display of lip smacking dishes, indoor and outdoor games were also conducted. In keeping with the theme of the conservation of the environment, students and parents were involved in a tree plantation drive, they also interacted socially with community helpers and appreciated every effort of all community helpers. The weeklong campaign witnessed the active participation of the students.The Shiksha Saptah week motivated and encouraged the students to learn various concepts keeping in sync with the NEP Policy of the Government. The Shikshan Saptah week ended with edutainment and enthusiasm.
Shikha Saptah was organized at St. Joseph's Convent High School, Bandra from 22nd July to 28th July to mark the 4th anniversary of National Education Policy 2020 and to celebrate the significance of education and engage students in various educational activities. The week's activities not only highlighted the value of education but also engaged all participants in meaningful and enjoyable ways.
'Shiksha Saptah', was celebrated at SJCHS from July 22nd to 28th, 2024 commemorating the 4th anniversary of the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020, organized by the Ministry of Education. Each day of the week focused on a specific theme, emphasizing different facets of education and development. Teachers of Class 9 had organized various activities for the students throughout the week.
Day 1: Students made their own toys, prepared story cards, DIY games and prepared charts on various themes.
Day 2: Students enthusiastically participated in story reading, story telling, fun with Math using toys and craft.
Day 3: Traditional games were conducted, such as Rope hopping, Langdi, marbles, tops and board games.
Day 4: Teachers wore traditional dresses and shared information with the students about that dress and the culture it represents. Students brought a traditional meal reflecting their culture and tradition and sat together and shared the meal with their fellow classmates.
Day 5: Students showed their creativity by making paper bags, designing a product and creating advertisements on a given product.
Day 6: Parents along with students also whole heartedly participated in the activity. They showed their care for nature by planting a sapling in their vicinity.
Day 7: Students were engaged in community work by cleaning their surrounding areas.
These educational and fun activities were designed to inspire a love for learning and innovation.

Activity - Solving crossword puzzles and Challenge cards.
Day 2: 23rd July, 2024; FLN
Activity - Students created and framed a story based on the pictures displayed. They also discussed it with the class.
Day 3: 24th July, 2024; Sports
Activity - Teachers explained the various 'Indigenous Games' to the students through a PowerPoint presentation and students played those games too.
Day 4: 25th July, 2024; Cultural Day
Activity - Students dressed up as per their culture and explained about the same. Students also displayed the variety of food dishes as per their culture.
Day 5: 26th July, 2024; Skilling Day
Activity - Students exhibited their skills and talents through different activities like playing an instrument, art, craft, nail art, hairstyling, fruit salad, t-shirt painting etc.
Day 6: 27th July, 2024; Eco Clubs for Mission Life Day
Activity - Planting and nurturing of plants. Cleaning and keeping the surroundings clean.
